2008 Bmw 3 Series Coupe2008 BMW M3 Coupe and Sedan will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto

BMW will finally introduce two of its important creations in Los Angeles this year's Auto Show, the 2008 M3 Coupe and Sedan. Both new models of automobile based in Munich and should increase the performance benchmark in its class.

The 4th generation 2008 M3 Coupe with the all new M3 4-door sedan is scheduled to hit dealerships in spring 2008. These two new offerings from BMW will offer a V8 engine, high revving producing 414 horsepower at 8300 rpm. Such power and performance is available in the first series production M3 BMW M3 and most powerful ever offered by BMW M division.

The BMW M3 Coupe with the quality of the radiator BMW will present one-one-kind-carbon fiber roof panel reduces weight by 44 pounds as compared to steel roof panel with optional sunroof. Over the two models have adjustable driver settings for crucial dynamic controls including the steering, damping and stability. There will also be available steering wheel mounted MDrive button to store the preferences. Inside is a sport oriented interior which will allow better management, more fun complete car navigation system / operated through BMW's iDrive Controller latter adds to its appeal.

Under the hood is a throbbing V8 that is enhanced in the fourth generation BMW M3 which increases the strength, efficiency and weight reduction compared to the previous M3 six-cylinder engine. The new light alloy engine displaces 3999 cc (4.0 liters) and produces 414 hp at 8300 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 3900 rpm with 85 percent of maximum torque available at 6,500 rpm always. This output represents an increase of 17 per cent over the six cylinders of the last generation M3 yet the new engine weighs only 7 per cent less fuel consumption and surprisingly 8 percent less than its predecessor.

BMW M3 Coupe And Sedan is equipped with a manual transmission, clutch disc and a dual variable M Differential Lock Power. The power of the V8 is transmitted to the rear wheels through its close-ratio six-speed manual transmission. The limit of the performance of the M3 is affected by the heat management is one of the key factors of design for both the transmission and clutch. And since the direction of heat is mainly on the temperature, it is intended for the transmission management function of oil temperature dependent cooling while internal ventilation maximizes heat dissipation for the twin disc clutch.

The Variable M Differential Lock generates up to 100 percent locking action and uses fully variable action if called for ensuring optimum traction on all types of road surfaces.
