Airstream CanadaDevelopment of fans and blowers for high temperature operation up to 2,200 F is introduced by Canadian Fan

Canada Blower Co. developed without temperature and fans for industrial applications to 2200 F. This was achieved by using alloys of high strength stainless steel for the wheels of fans, which allow higher speeds safely at high temperatures.

Canada fan of high temperature oven fans line now include:

- To use up to 2200 F, centrifugal, axial and plug fan types;
- Prefabricated and custom made fans for all types of applications with types vaiety wheel and accessories;

Fans of ambient air cooling systems handling hot air currents must have enough air and be kept in operation until airstream temperatures cool below 120 F to avoid damaging the fan. The cooling fan of the ambient air Tubeaxial system is only effective while fan is running.

There are two main types of fans at high temperatures - axial and centrifugal:

Centrifugal Wheels:

* Wheel Multiblade futures curve. This type of wheel is usually specified where there is a need for large volumes of low to medium throughput requirements cons of static pressure. The curved blade is that it ultimately offers the same volume of air that is backward or radial blade wheel, at a lower fan speed, which is important because of constraints of wheels at high temperatures. This fan is the type most commonly used in all types of heat treatment operations except where a buildup of material on the blades can occur, as wheel unbalance would result.
* Radial Blade, paddle wheel type fans. This type of wheel is usually specified where there is a necessity for medium volumes of flow against medium to large static pressures. The paddle wheel is considered a self-cleaning type of wheel. It could be used where there are various materials or dust in the air stream. Due to its structurally strong design, it is used in many heat treatment applications at very high temperatures where maximum fan longevity is desired.

Axial impellers:

* The axial impeller is usually specified where there is a need for very large volumes of flows against low static pressure. Axial wheel like the front wheels of multi-curved blade could cause an axial fan to deliver different air volumes at the same static pressure, if the total pressure requirement of the ventilation system has been underestimated. This type of fan is ideal where a large volume of flow is required with a minimum of duct work and is widely used for small and large furnaces, such as aluminum annealing.
