The clean diesel technology Tour coming to Sacramento The recent rise in gasoline prices have forced car buyers and automotive industry to find more fuel efficient alternatives. An alternative fuel has attracted the attention of the automotive industry is diesel.
Diesel as fuel, is cheaper than gasoline and can be a temporary solution for U.S. energy independence. For years, diesel engines have suffered from a bad reputation because of the enormous amount of soot that diesel engine emits. But the development has continued in the automotive industry has led to cleaner diesel engines that deliver more power than previous generations of diesel engines, while producing fewer pollutants. In fact, some diesel engines have proven to produce greenhouse gas emissions relatively lower than some gasoline engines.
The continued popularity of diesel engines has led the Diesel Technology Forum to organize the Clean Diesel Technology Tour. The Diesel Technology Forum is an association of various companies that manufacture diesel engines, engine parts, fuel and emission control systems. The organization works to sponsor the use of diesel engines in the hope they will make a difference to the environment.
In their effort to encourage consumers to use diesel vehicles, the Clean Diesel Technology Tour has been organized and will be the largest event of its kind because it will host a large number of participants. different personalities in the development of clean diesel will be present as well as vehicles with clean diesel engines. The event is also attended by environmentalists, manufacturers and legislators. The visit will take place at the Sacramento Convention Center April 19 this year.
The event will begin with a press conference will be honored by the presence of Allan Schaeffer, who is the executive director of the Diesel Technology Forum. Outside Schaeffer, other corporate executives will also be grilled at the press conference will begin at 9:00 am. After the press conference, exhibitors will then present their vehicles developed engine, or technologies.

The event features keynote speakers will of the government. Senator Alan Lowenthal (D-Long Beach) is one of the main speakers at the event. The legislature is one of the leading advocates of reducing emissions of shipping.
Dan Skopec, the deputy secretary of the Agency for Environmental Protection in California, will also speak at the event. Skopec person is also an update on Governor Schwarzenegger's California effort to promote the use of fuels with low carbon content. The Deputy Secretary will talk about the Governor to take on global warming and what he thinks of the problems must be addressed by the automotive industry.
The event course will host the showcase technologies developed by different companies. Food banks, a producer of power systems and engines, spare parts for heavy duty trucks with diesel engines, will present at the event. Gale Banks, the founder and president of the Society will present their technologies developed which are concerned about the amount of air entering the combustion chamber of engines.
