Entourage Minivan

Entourage MinivanMinivans With 20 + MPG Model Year 2007

The automotive industry is producing automobiles of different types to meet different tastes of car buyers. There are small cars like sedans, sedans, coupes, convertibles and there are large vehicles like SUVs, pickups, vans and minivans. These different types of vehicles are designed to fit the lifestyle of a car buyer.

The minivan, for example, is suitable for those who want enough space inside the vehicle while at the same time provide good treatment as that of a small car. Currently, there is a small selection of mini-vans in the U.S. market because of the trend that people are opting for smaller vehicles because of its fuel consumption.

But for those who want the versatility and luggage space provided by a mini-van, there are models in the market with good gas mileage. Most minivan fuel efficient vehicles to market in 2007 model year is the Honda Odyssey with a fuel consumption rating of 23 miles per gallon. The ability of this mini-van to save fuel is because it is possible to deactivate three of its six cylinders when cruising. The Honda Odyssey received high marks from Consumer Reports for its versatility and ability to treat as a midsize sedan does.

Coming in second was the 2007 Dodge Caravan which can operate for 22 miles on one gallon of gasoline. While its V6 engine is designed to reduce fuel consumption, unfortunately, the noise and vibrations are not as refined as the engine used by the Honda Odyssey. Its handling is also in question turns. But next turn, Dodge Caravan runs pretty well.

Another minibus with fuel consumption is good first van Saturn Relay. With 21 miles per gallon rating, which will suit those who are looking for vans that consume less fuel than most competitors. But its fuel is not supplemented by other attributes such as steep turns and noisy interior finish is not at par with the likes of the Honda Odyssey.

The Chevrolet Uplander minivan with another flow of gas good mileage to 21 miles per gallon. But just like his cousin GM, the Saturn Relay, his conduct is stiff and noisy, the interior is not as nice as you want. Another GM minivan, the Buick Terraza, offers a good fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon, but just like the Saturn Relay and the Chevrolet Uplander, it fails in the treatment and comfort zone.

It appears that these three mini-vans from General Motors needs more Superchips to complete their handling fuel.

Minivans other fuels are effective: the 2007 Nissan Quest 21 miles per gallon, the Chrysler Town & Country 2007-21 miles per gallon, and the Hyundai Entourage 2007 with 20 miles per gallon.
