Choosing a good tent While camping tent, the tent becomes your castle. It is the most important piece of camping equipment you purchase. For this reason, a good amount of time must go into buying the right tent. To help simply making such decisions, we have implemented in the following list:
1. Type of Camping Trip: Will you be hiking, camping weekend, with camping or extended? A heavy tent can be used for longer term camping and tends to be better for large groups. However, a lighter tent is best for camping in the short term and is ideal for hiking.
2. Travel Distance: How far you go deposit your camping gear? If it is a measure of distance, a lighter tent would be preferable because of its lighter weight. a. Summer tents are best for warm weather of summer, they have lots of mesh for ventilation and are very lightweight, weighing approximately 4 to 8 pounds. However, this lack of insulation will not be very useful for the fall or winter camping.
b. 3 tents are designed for spring, summer and autumn and the tent are most commonly used and weigh about 5 to 10 pounds.
C. Four season tents are designed for all seasons with an emphasis on winter camping. They are very good for camping and winter camping at high altitude.
d. Convertible tents are designed for four seasons. However, they have a large number of "convertible" parts for the different conditions that can be a boon and a burden at the same time.
4. Headroom: Do you need a lot of space while you're in your tent? Do you need to be able to standup in your attempts to change? The answer to these questions are largely a matter of personal preference. However, we recommend that new tent campers trying to boot with a tent that provides both these features as a spacious tent tends to be most convenient for all campers.
