Mazda 5 vs. Kia Rondo: Which is which? In the automotive industry, the Europeans have long frequented the diesel engine and they prefer smaller more economical cars. Meanwhile, North Americans who usually carry five people in their cars prefer a minivan and seven-passenger SUV. The problem is that polluted the brush is disgusting minivan driver and big SUVs are massive gas consumers. There are now substitutes friendly city. The Kia Rondo EX V6 Luxury takes the Mazda5 GT, both offering a minimum of five seats or more, and provide a spacious cargo area where nothing and no one is occupying the third row.
Both vehicles are remarkably similar. However, they are different even in the sharp-edged flashing on the door of the glove box. Wedge is the most visible similarity, wherein the Mazda5 has six in a 2 +2 +2 configuration, while the middle row of Kia has a seventh place.
Both cars also provide great flexibility and cargo capacity. However, Kia headrests in the second line must be removed first in the middle and third rows folded flat should be. Regarding the capacity of freight cars, Mazda Motor and Kia Motor used different ways to calculate the relative space.
When the third row is moved down, the product space is almost four times the original. When the center line is flat, the Rondo is available up to 73.4 cubic feet. Visually, the Mazda 5 has almost the same space as the Rondo, but its overall height may be neglected affected by its roofline.
With regard to housing is concerned, both cars have a close battle. Kia has considerably more legroom, knee room and headroom spaces in the third row. The Mazda 5 is also a piece of hard plastic trim on the hill. However, this car has seats that are higher on the ground (270 mm to 230 mm Kia), which makes it quite more comfortable than the other car.
In the passage of two cars "on the other hand, the seats are comfortable and can be moved back and forth. When the third row is vacant, the seat can be moved and the seats of the Middle-line can be drawn forward, which means more stretch-out space.
While Mazda has some interesting touches like a storage bin under the left middle seat and a handy tray / net under the law, counters Kia those with functional roof rails.
Up front, there are minor differences between the two. positions of the cars are driving good, visibility is good (both windows based triangular A-pillar that reduces what would be a bad blind spot) and the layouts are logically conceptualized set. Both have air conditioning ($ 1,100 option on the Mazda5), Great audio packages and power locks, windows, mirrors and sunroofs. The only notable difference is the manual adjustment of Mazda's cloth seats and power setting for buckets of Kia heated leather.
The gates represent differences. The Rondo comes with four conventional hinged doors while Mazda 5 is available with sliding rear doors. Therefore, the Mazda is easier to load when it is parked in a sealed area. Sliding doors prevent access to the third row on the down side due to consumption of the vanguard in the input path.
On the road, both cars are not like minivans or SUVs more. As usual, a minimum roll (both anti-roll bars front and rear) is present and any understeer. Both are also available with fitted large tires and antilock brakes. The Mazda 5 GT uses P205/50R17, while the Kia uses a 225/50R17.
Biggest differences are in the powertrain. The Mazda has a 2.3-liter four-cylinder and a four-speed manumatic (a combination of manual and automatic). The Rondo EX V6 is managed by a 2.7L V6 that results in a five-speed manumatic. The base Rondo EX is available with a 162-hp, 2.4L four and a four-speed tranny. For R.
