The interior is spacious in the rear, with plenty of room for the 6-feet. This is an important issue, because the C-Class is a popular choice for taxi companies in Germany, where 30 percent of production is sold. There is also a new look for the interior, including a vast expanse of plastic for the dashboard which is relieved by treatment of two-tone colors. The instruments used for the Sport models have a cut as the treatment of style, with silver spectacles, dials and black hands orange indicator.

Once on the market, this 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is available in two different models. The first is the C300, with two levels of equipment, namely sport and elegance. The other is the C350, which will be available only as a Sport model.

The C300 is equipped with 24-valve DOHC V6 3.0L featured in the current C280, where it delivers 228 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 221 lb.-ft. of torque at 2.700 to 5.000 rpm. In the new 2008 C300, Mercedes says the engine will produce 231 hp.

The C350, on the other hand, will have the 24-valve DOHC 3.5-liter V6 now in the current C350, where it produces 268 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 258 lb-ft of 2.400 to 5.000 rpm. In 2008 new C350, Mercedes says the engine will offer 272 hp.

For a choice of transmission, the C300 Sport will have a short-range six-speed manual, while the C300 Elegance will feature seven-speed automatic currently available in the current car. Meanwhile, the C350 Sport also has an automatic transmission with seven speeds.

Mercedes has also provided technology for adjusting the brake S-Class in the entry-level Benz. The system includes brake assist to improve response in emergencies, a mode that slightly touches the water of the rotors in wet weather to improve the braking action, and even start to help the foot to help the car hold its position on the steep slopes.

The standard 17-inch wheels carry 45-series tires, while 18-inch wheels with tires 40-series will be available as an option.

When the cars come out in Europe in March, there will be three levels of surface finish: Avantgarde, Elegance and Classic. The Avantgarde has a striking front end cut off, with unique coverage for the front bumper more than a grille with three slats with a big star, centrally positioned Mercedes. levels of elegance and finish Classic is equipped with vertical grids and wear the traditional Mercedes star in the traditional place on top of the nose.

The center console control was inspired by the S-Class and attempts to position frequently used functions within easy reach of the driver. A multifunction steering wheel with links to the cluster instrumentation is standard equipment.
