Alter Bridge Tickets - Alter Bridge UK Tour Alter Bridge is an American rock band based in Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2004 by the then Member of the old Creed, Mark Tremonti (guitar, vocals), Brian Marshall (bass) and Scott Phillips (drums), with Myles Kennedy (vocals, lead guitar and rhythm), formerly of The Mayfield Four. Kennedy, Tremonti, Phillips and Marshall started a new group and shortly after juggling a few names, settled on the nickname of Alter Bridge, which was named after a bridge near the house in Detroit Tremonti of Alter Road. The bridge leads to a wrong side of the city and the neighborhood children were not allowed to cross because of it. Thus, according to Tremonti, the name symbolizes the band goes into the unknown and starting something new.
Alter Bridge released their debut album, One Day Remains, August 10, 2004 with her debut single "Open Your Eyes", which was followed by "Find The Real" and "Broken Wings". "Find the Real" has been used as the theme song of WWE Royal Rumble 2005. The song "Metalingus" has been used since the end of 2004, the theme song of WWE Superstar Edge. The album, which was certified gold by the RIAA, was released by Wind-Up Records. Alter Bridge After leaving soon separated from the label, and after discussions with record labels numurous different, they have settled with Universal Republic for the second album.
Alter Bridge also played live in 2005 MLB Home Run Derby. They also recorded an instrumental track for Total Guitar magazine called "Rabo Taco Salad Ahavo. The song should be a piece Mark Tremonti at the outset but the rest of Alter Bridge as soon as I got involved.
They finish the final stage of the Tour Day One remains in mid-2006, Alter Bridge began recording their second album. In 2007, with Universal Republic, Alter Bridge released their second album, Blackbird, on October 9, 2007. The first single from the album, now "up", was released on July 30, 2007. On January 2, 2008, "Watch Over You" has been officially named the world's second largest single Blackbird, the third single is "Ties That Bind". After a short period of time on the rock charts, "Watch Over You" was released to pop stations throughout the latter part of April, making it the first song released Alter Bridge's pop Radio and rock stations. "Before Tomorrow Comes" was announced as the fourth single on 1 April 2008.
The video for "Watch Over You" was released in mid-September 2008. A new version of the video, using extracts of VH1's Celebrity Rehab, was released later this month, used to promote the series. He is also currently a duet version of the song featuring Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil on MySpace Alter Bridge.
In addition, Alter Bridge turned their first live DVD in Amsterdam. Daniel Catullo of Coming Home Productions, who has worked with artists such as Godsmack, Nickelback, and Smashing Pumpkins, produced the DVD. A new MySpace page for upcoming live DVD has been created. It was later revealed by the director Dan Catullo four versions of Live will be released in Amsterdam, the first of which was released Aug. 4, and was a single disc version only sold exclusively in places on the tour Creed . The singer Myles Kennedy has apologized to fans for the delay on his MySpace page and official website of Alter Bridge. The DVD has since been delayed by a record label the group several times and do not currently have a release date.
After writing the lyrics for most of 2009, their third provisionally entitled Alter Bridge III has been registered.
