Small Timber Frame Plans

Small Timber Frame PlansCan we buy the house ready made plans to work from, or would you hire an architect?

I was wondering as im considering building a small car project, but the budget is tight and I was wondering if you could buy ready made plans to save the cost of obtaining an architect to design a house for you. Also Iv looked more businesses Timber frame house with a catologue their standard designs, but I was wondering if there are companys who produce designs a standard room for the construction of self in traditional blocks and bricks. Have googled it without success so any help is appreciated.

There are catalogs more ideas, but never what you really want or customized to your needs, you will need to get a design to a structural engineer and subsequently approved by the local municipality. so you can make your own drawings hire an engineer to say 100 million dollars a piece for the stamps, then pays the local authority to certify em for occupancy.

You can buy ready established plans, thereby reducing the cost compared to the design from scratch, but you'll still need an architect. The plans may not take into account the exact nature of your property unique. The size and shape of the plot and the location of services such as gas and electricity should be taken into account and plans adjusted accordingly.

We bought our house plans online. Try eplans.com ... there are many websites out there, but be careful ... when we had our plans online, they are generic and are not approved by the city the first time because they were subjected to missing information, as indicating the CIRC, the requirements decline, and additional details foot, etc.

depends on your local building codes. If you're in the boonies, then probably no worries.

Architect will be real expensive and most cases is not necessary for the houses.

You'll need an architect to review any plans made to ensure they comply with local building codes.
