What type of cargo vans to get at least 20 mpg? I'm looking for a van-type party and I want a simple good mileage van. I do not want a work truck and looked into the price range of 4k or less for a used van. something late 80s and up to work properly.
No size van gets 20 MPG. Your only hope is to find a cargo (no windows or rear seats) version of a minivan, Dodge Caravan I know have been sold this way at one point, Ford Windstar were too I think. Chevrolet Astro and GMC Safari vans are based there too, they are a little bigger or heavier, but could get 20 MPG
A Dodge Sprinter Mercedes diesel with the I5 would do that, but it will not be found for $ 4,000. None of the 80 would be in the state to get this kind of MPGs for you, IETH.
I average about 18-20 MPGs with my V6 2003 F150 SuperCab with the disc drive, and how is the engine area. Perhaps an E150 with a V6 could do, but it will not be one with a long wheelbase ...
