Is there someone other than me who prefers a tent trailers? I grew up camping trailer, my parents said they used to tent camp when I was young, but do not remember. I went camping in trailers for the tents when I grew up and goes without my parents. I did camping tent for 14 years. We bought a trailer in 2006 and I love it.
You know, this is something that is pretty funny. I started using tents, I got a little older, I moved to trailers only for the same reasons you did. Over time he would, I have just returned to the tents, because I really feel more natural. It's really a question of personal preference. If someone is camping in a tent and camping nearby in an RV, this does not mean that the RV'ers were not camping, because it is the cycle in which they are involved. The thing about camping is to escape the ordinary life at home, to get some time to do something extraordinary, and lets face, that feels good. I really enjoy getting back to nature feel the wind on my back, the heat of the fire on my face. I love the smell of the forest where I go. I know the sounds of the forest at night. I love the fresh air on my nose in the morning. No matter what I'm about housing. The campsite is really not very different from anything else, you always get the same reward if your in a tent or trailer.
All about personal preference. PPL much prefer trailers for various reasons, like many other ppl prefer tents to a more natural look.
I love tent camping, but I'm getting old. So I bought a small teardrop trailer camping, which is a little over a bed on wheels. And as a woman camping alone there is certainly something to be said to have doors with security locks. But few things make me happier than being in the backcountry in a tent. Overnight breaks pot I have a product called "freshets". http://www.freshette.com/
Not a chance. Sometimes the challenge do not accidentally walk into a tree in the middle of the night when I go. And half die of cold when you Sidle your bag in your sleep is part of the experience. And I can not take a backpack trailer.
