But how are the manufacturers themselves doing? How much money are these companies generating in revenue and what is their market cap on the stock market today? Today we will answer these questions as well as looking into how many vehicles they sold in 2020 and a company summary. All sales and revenue figures will be as of year-end 2020 and market cap will be as of 8/13/21.

Fiat Chrysler is an Italy-based multinational automotive company who recently completed a merger with Frances PSA to create Stellantis. This merger now unites Peugeot, Citroen, Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, and others under one company. These brands manufacture passenger automobiles and commercial vehicles. Some of their best-known vehicles are the Ram 1500, Dodge Hellcat, Jeep Wrangler, and Fiat 500. This merger is expected to significantly increase the company’s profitability with reworking from the ground up occurring within the organization.

*Disclaimer: Tesla is the largest car company by market cap at $710 Billion they only generated $11.9 Billion in revenue and $600 Million in profit and sold 499,000 vehicles worldwide, suggesting an overvaluation and unfair comparison to the other brands on this list.
